# Vehicle Wiring Knowledge

## Scope and honesty note

Per instruction ("Không đoán pinout. Chỉ tổng hợp từ Manual/
synthesize from Manual/), this document draws exclusively from the real
`` , which came from the 3
locally-present Freude Owner's Manuals (FP-8A, FP-12A, FX-4).

**Critical finding: none of that content is vehicle-specific.** It documents the Freude
product's own input/output terminals (power, ground, REM, speaker leads, high/low-level input) —
not any particular vehicle's OEM wiring harness, connector pinout, or wire-color code. No
document anywhere in this project (Vehicle Master Data, Vehicle Audio Architecture,
through ) contains a vehicle-side wiring diagram, harness pinout table, or wire-color
reference for any of the 49 vehicle trims.

## What IS available (product-side, generic, from real Owner's Manual )

### FX-4 (Amplifier)
- Power (+12V): connect only after all other leads are connected; #10 AWG or thicker; direct to
battery positive, not a fuse block.
- Ground (GND): #10 AWG or thicker, as short as possible, bare metal chassis point.
- REM (remote turn-on): +12V from the car stereo's Auto-Antenna lead, or an Accessory/Radio fuse
block terminal; 20 AWG wire is sufficient.
- Speaker leads: #16 AWG typical (never thinner than #18 AWG); #14 AWG for runs over 3m.

### FP-8A / FP-12A (DSP)
- Turn-on mode switch: "ACC" (vehicle ACC voltage controls power) vs "HOST" (DC signal from
high-level input controls power) — the manual explicitly notes some vehicles' speaker-level
output has no DC signal, requiring ACC mode in that case, but does NOT name which vehicles.
- Digital/Optical Fibre input: 1 set of stereo (L/R) optical inputs supported.
- USB Type B: PC tuning software connection.

## What is NOT available (vehicle-side, all 49 trims)

| Item | Status |
| --- | --- |
| OEM harness connector pinout (per vehicle) | PENDING VERIFICATION — 0/49 |
| OEM wire-color code (per vehicle) | PENDING VERIFICATION — 0/49 |
| Speaker-level tap point / adapter requirement | PENDING VERIFICATION — 0/49 |
| ACC vs constant-power wire identification (per vehicle) | PENDING VERIFICATION — 0/49 |
| MOST/A2B tap or interface point (per vehicle) | PENDING VERIFICATION — 0/49 (even for the 2 richest "
"Mercedes-Benz trims that confirm MOST is present, no tap/interface method is documented) |
| Steering-wheel control (SWC) retention wiring | PENDING VERIFICATION — not covered by any local document at all |

## Recommendation

Do not publish a "wiring guide" for any specific vehicle from local data. If Cursor/Admin wants
this filled, it requires either (a) a genuine OEM wiring reference document per vehicle
(not currently in this project), or (b) field verification by an installer, logged back into
Vehicle Audio Architecture's `Technical Notes` / `Verification Status` fields the same way the
Mercedes-Benz C-Class rows were partially populated.
