# Engineer Certification Junior / Senior / Master / Chief tiers. Unlike Dealer Certification (which has a real prior `` source to build from), no engineer-tier curriculum exists anywhere in this project prior to this pass — the tier *structure* is new organizational design; every piece of *content* inside each tier still traces to real project documentation (``, ``, ``, ``, ). ## Junior Engineer **Topics:** Foundation Course + DSP/Amplifier/Speaker Master Courses (concept modules only, not Advanced/Expert modules) + Installation School Lessons 1-2 (DSP, Amplifier). **Required knowledge:** every real spec field in ``; FP-8A/FP-12A signal flow, time alignment, EQ, crossover ranges; FX-4 power/impedance tables. **Skills:** read a Master Data spec sheet fluently; explain the difference between RMS and Max power using the real FX-4 pairing. **Evaluation:** written exam only (30 questions minimum, drawn from `` DSP + Amplifier categories). PENDING VERIFICATION — no formal practical-bench evaluation exists in this project. ## Senior Engineer **Topics:** all Junior topics + full Installation School (all 5 lessons) + Troubleshooting School (all 14 lessons) + Vehicle Audio Course. **Required knowledge:** the complete FX-4 wiring procedure including the unreconciled AWG discrepancy (must know BOTH figures exist and why); all 10 real troubleshooting symptoms; Mercedes-Benz W206 MBUX installation constraint. **Skills:** diagnose a real symptom from the Troubleshooting School lessons without improvisation; correctly tell a dealer when a question falls outside verified project knowledge (the single most important Senior-level skill given how much of this catalog is PENDING). **Evaluation:** written exam (50 questions minimum) + practical (resolve 4/5 real troubleshooting scenarios). PENDING VERIFICATION pass threshold — training coordinator to confirm. ## Master Engineer **Topics:** all Senior topics + full Reference Matrix (``) + Knowledge Gaps (``) fluency + AI Dataset citation structure (``/``). **Required knowledge:** every documented conflict in this project (FP-6A-V2 power-output internal inconsistency; FDK-165/FPK-165/FPX-165 slug hyphenation; 3 unresolved Accessories product-code references; VF8 Eco/Plus speaker-count mismatch; FX-4's two different AWG figures) — a Master Engineer must be able to explain each one and why it was flagged rather than silently resolved. **Skills:** author a new PENDING-VERIFICATION-safe knowledge article for a topic this project doesn't yet cover, following the same sourcing discipline used throughout –009. **Evaluation:** PENDING VERIFICATION — no formal Master-tier evaluation process exists; this project recommends (not mandates) a portfolio review of authored knowledge articles by a Chief Engineer. ## Chief Engineer **Topics:** all Master topics + full ownership of what remains PENDING VERIFICATION platform-wide (``, ``, all `master-pack/` validation/ audit files). **Required knowledge:** the platform-level production-readiness gate (86% Public-Beta score, Production NO-GO pending real IdP / published TRC / warranty / live error tracking / backup restore drill — ``, Cursor's domain, read-only reference here). **Skills:** prioritize which of the 16 consolidated knowledge gaps (``) to close next, and route each to the correct owner (Manufacturer / Dealer-field / Engineering / Structural — the same 4 categories `` already uses). **Evaluation:** PENDING VERIFICATION — this is inherently a role-based, not exam-based, designation in every organization; no exam is proposed for this tier. ## Tier progression note Tiers are cumulative (Junior ⊂ Senior ⊂ Master ⊂ Chief in required knowledge). No time-in-role minimum is specified anywhere in this project — PENDING VERIFICATION, HR/management decision.
