# Dealer Certification

Levels 1-3 + Vehicle Installation, built on ``
and `` . **Pass-criteria percentages below are a
suggested structural default for a training coordinator to confirm — no official pass threshold
is defined anywhere in this project ("không tự chấm" principle, same as
`master-pack/product-readiness.xlsx`).**

## Level 1 — Basic (Product Orientation)

Study guide: `` — product identification, physical facts
(dimensions/weight/plug-and-play status), basic FAQ (52 SKUs).

**Written exam (sample, 5 of many possible real questions):**
1. What SKU is Freude's flagship DSP unit with the widest time-alignment range documented
 locally? (Answer: FP-12A, 0-15.000ms / 0-500cm.)
2. Is FX-4 a Class AB or Class D amplifier? (Answer: Class AB.)
3. How many Amplifier SKUs exist in the catalog? (Answer: 13.)
4. True/False: pricing is available for all 52 SKUs in this project's documentation.
(Answer: False — 0/52, intentionally, by design.)
5. True/False: BMW vehicle compatibility data exists in this project. (Answer: False.)

**Practical exam:** identify 5 random SKUs from a spec sheet excerpt using only
``. No troubleshooting or wiring content required at this level.

**Suggested pass criteria:** 80% written, practical = correct identification of 4/5 SKUs.

## Level 2 — Intermediate (Spec + Selection)

Study guide: `` — power/mounting/certification detail, signal
flow basics, spec-driven product selection (no ranking/scoring of products against each other).

**Written exam (sample):**
1. What is FP-8A's Low Level input impedance? (Answer: 15KΩ.)
2. What is FX-4's rated power at 2Ω per channel (RMS)? (Answer: 230W x4.)
3. A customer wants the widest EQ gain range. Between FP-8A (-12/+12dB) and FP-12A (-20/+20dB),
which has the wider range? (Answer: FP-12A.)
4. PENDING VERIFICATION — do not answer a pricing-comparison question; direct to official channels.

**Practical exam:** given a customer's stated needs (channel count, budget-free spec match
only), select the correct SKU using `` without inventing a
recommendation not supported by the sheet.

**Suggested pass criteria:** 80% written, practical = correct SKU match on 4/5 scenarios.

## Level 3 — Advanced (Troubleshooting + Advanced Selection)

Study guide: `` + `` (this pass, the
current, corrected content — supersedes the older `` staleness noted in
``).

**Written exam (sample, drawn from the 10 real troubleshooting lessons):**
1. A customer's FX-4 install has no stereo sound and weak bass. What's the documented likely
cause? (Answer: speaker (+)/ cables mixed up, unit wired out of phase.)
2. What two conditions trigger FX-4's protection circuit? (Answer: overheating, or
 short-circuited speaker terminals.)
3. FP-8A's USB won't connect. What's the first thing to check in Windows? (Answer: Device
Manager for a 'HID-compliant device' entry.)

**Practical exam:** work through 3 of the 10 real troubleshooting scenarios in
`` as a live diagnostic role-play (dealer as technician, examiner as
customer).

**Suggested pass criteria:** 85% written (higher bar — this level gates customer-facing
technical support), practical = correctly resolve 2/3 scenarios using only cited real manual
content (no improvisation).

## Vehicle Installation Certification

Study guide: `` + `` (this pass).
Read only after Level 2.

**Written exam (sample):**
1. Which vehicle brand has zero compatibility data in this project? (Answer: BMW.)
2. What MBUX-specific fact must be disclosed to every Mercedes-Benz W206-platform customer
before quoting installation? (Answer: the head unit is soldered/non-removable; only wireless
CarPlay dongle or OEM software upgrade are viable aftermarket paths.)

**Suggested pass criteria:** 90% (customer-facing vehicle claims carry the highest error cost in
this project — a wrong compatibility claim is worse than a wrong spec answer).

## Learning checklist

- [ ] Level 1 exam passed
- [ ] Level 2 exam passed
- [ ] Level 3 written + practical passed
- [ ] Vehicle Installation exam passed
- [ ] Reviewed `` so certified dealers know what NOT to promise
customers (pricing, warranty duration, non-verified vehicle compatibility)
